All good stories usually start with a vision...

In a setting historically destined to traditional agriculture, Hubert Ewbank felt another calling: to raise in these one-of-a-kind lands with immeasurable potential, a grand vineyard in Wallonia and prove that Wallonia can mesure up to huge European wine-growing regions.

That is how, in 2010, between a bountiful nature and one man’s passion, the unique story of the biggest vinyard in Belgium was born to start a crazy project, almost utopian but very real... The Domain will progressively expand itself to reach 56 hactares, making the Chant d'Éole, a few years later, the biggest vineyard in Belgium.

More than 490 000 vines now thrive in the Domaine du Chant d'Éole. Oriented to the south, the chalky soil of the Domain offers ideal drainage and irrigation properties which are ideal for the production of sparkling wines made according to the traditional method and located on the same limestone formation as the grand crus of the Champagne region.
